Canfield Coppermate Flux 453g (Large, 1Lb)
Copper-Mate is a specialized flux paste for sweat fitting work that is self-cleaning and lead-free. It effectively removes oxidation and prepares a variety of metals, including copper, lead, brass, tin, stainless steel, cast iron, and wrought iron (excluding aluminum) for proper solder bonding, resulting in leak-tight joints. This flux enables the easy flow and perfect tinning of solder without burning, charring, or spattering. It is safe for use in all soft soldering applications, including potable water systems, and is free of lead and solder.
